  • I know this is a difficult time for you and I want to help where I can.

Let’s discuss how we can make this happen.

Every month I offer an intake plus two pro-bono coaching sessions to one person or couple. If paying for support is not an option for you right now, please still get in touch.

Are you struggling to move forward after the death of a loved one? Have you found yourself in a world where you are passively floating through life and have completely lost any sense of who you are? Maybe you have lost your job, a relationship has broken down, you’ve moved to a different country, into a complete unknown, or a loved one is unwell and you’re constantly anticipating the day when they will no longer be with you.

Whatever it is you have lost, it’s OK to grieve. It’s OK to sit with that grief for as long as you need to. But when the time is right, when you feel ready, it can often be difficult to get unstuck and to move forward with life. There is often a fear of the unknown, a fear that moving forward means you’re forgetting the person or thing that’s no longer there, a guilt for wanting to leave the past in the past, or a feeling of complete loss of control because you just don’t know what to do now.

That’s where I come in. As a Grief and Loss Coach I will support you to acknowledge your loss, find the words to tell your story, and identify what you need to move forward. I will never tell you to forget or move on, but we will find strategies and techniques that work for you, which allow you to embrace life whilst also honouring your loss.

During our sessions you will:

  • tell me your story

  • identify your true feelings, whatever they may be, without the pressure to feel a certain way

  • take control of your future through identifying exactly what it is you want and need

  • break down your long-term goals into tangible steps that I will support you to take

  • navigate the overwhelming emotions, societal expectations, and challenges that come with grief and loss

  • celebrate your journey so far, and the successes of your future

By acknowledging your experiences, identifying where you are now, and how you want to reshape your future, I will work with you and support you to discover your new identity, regain control, rebuild relationships, and find peace and positivity in your words, your story, and your future.

All coaching sessions take place online.

Testimonials

  • Kat is a highly professional and skilled coach. I approached her for support with complex grief and brought topics which were outside of her usual scope of practice, yet she supported me with ease and expertise. Kat helped me to engage in deep reflection around a challenging area of my life which I have been working through for the past 5 years. Through my work with Kat, I have found myself able to re-direct my energy from anger and wishing for external factors to change into creating a more positive future for myself in the areas I can control. Whilst there was clear empathy demonstrated throughout, I never felt pitied, but rather respected and capable of moving forward. I would recommend Kat for support with any type of grief or loss.

  • I cannot thank Kat enough for the opportunity to work with her. She has supported me, through our coaching sessions, to navigate the difficulties of caring for a parent with Alzheimer’s whilst continuing to work and have caring responsibilities for my grandchildren. I have been left with strategies for managing my feelings and an understanding that it is ok to feel overwhelmed. Kat’s friendly but gentle, thought provoking style has helped me in so many ways

  • I found Kat so empathic, kind and understanding. I felt she listened and had helpful prompts to reframe how I was viewing the situations I found myself in. Kat was always respectful of my views, whilst sensitively guiding me to explore new perspectives. I would definitely recommend consulting with Kat for coaching or mentoring. Also, Kat sensitively helped me to explore coming to terms with loss and reframing, looking for the joy, even in the sadness. I owe her a debt of gratitude. Thank you Kat.
